Skin care – men edition

11.04.2020

Skin care is very important, but no one wants to spend more time getting ready every morning than necessary.

Here are useful tips for body and face care that will save you time and unnecessary trouble.

Shaving after the shower

The morning routine of washing your face, teeth and hands is something we always rather do before relaxing under hot shower. However, shaving after the shower will save you from undesirable skin irritation. Warm water and steam open pores on the face and the skin is softer, which enables more precise and easier shaving and decreases the risk of cuts and irritation.

Hair conditioner instead of shaving foam

Replace the standard shaving foam with a hair conditioner and thus recover your face. You wonder how? The explanation is very simple – conditioner, unlike foam, hydrates the skin, doesn’t dry it out.

Pimples and cotton rounds

An uninvited guest always shows up when we least expect him. A pimple that shows up before an important meeting or a long-awaited night out is a nightmare for everyone. It is resolved by using two cotton rounds or pieces of cotton instead of your fingertips and use it to gently pop the pimple. This way you will prevent the spread of bacteria because fingers do not come directly into the contact with the skin, and there is also less chance that you will leave traces of your own fingernails on your face.

Lip balm and shaving cuts

House recipes always do the best work, so if you like to save a penny on the after-shave products, here's a tip – the next time the razor doesn't want to listen to you and make a cut on your face, cover it with a lip balm. A waxy texture will help the cuts to heal faster.

A more gentle kiss with a toothbrush

After brushing your teeth, swipe the brush several times over your lips to remove the dead skin. Your lips will be softer and look nourished.

Clean your razor with the hair dryer

You'll save the water and the nerves. You will remove excess hair and prevent the blade from oxidation, it will not rust or go dull.

Tweezers for the nose hairs

If the hairs in your nose or ears are bothering you, remove them with tweezers or nail clipper.
