Vivienne Westwood
She is one of the greatest icons of our time who defined the London fashion scene, the British designer, punk style creator, activist and a real life fashion legend. Her design doesn’t represent just a well-tailored fabric or possibly a good piece of clothing. She wants people to powerful in her creations. And so people love her because she is an inspiration to others.

His interest in design and art began when she married Malcolm McLaren, an art student and future manager of the punk band Sex Pistols. In the early 1970s, Malcolm opened a boutique in London and began filling it with his own design pieces. Despite the fact that the name of the store has changed five times, it turns out that it become an important and cult fashion center of the punk movement. She began dressing musicians and helped them discover their identities. When punk became a fashion movement more than revolutionary one, Vivienne started to design clothes.

The punk movement weakened, so she moved on in the other direction. She was constantly ahead of the trends, and most often she dictated them actually. She was named British Designer of the Year twice and received other awards, which encouraged her to be completely different and always remains provocative. When she attached plastic breasts to male models in 2003, she stole the entire media and public attention at London Fashion Week.

Although she is a strong opponent of capitalistic system, she is a great supporter of the monarchy on the other hand. In honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 60th reign, she has created a special collection, as well as for the London Olympics. She often uses the British flag as a motive, but her great inspiration are also pirates and motifs of the past in general.

"My creations do not endanger anyone's personality, leaving space for every woman to express herself and her spirit" - Vivienne Westwood
